Baby Vignette Portraits
I hand-paint each portrait in professional-grade oil paints and materials, creating a timeless work of art that captures not only your baby’s likeness, but the feeling of this precious stage of life. My paintings incorporate expressive brushwork and impressionistic passages rather than attempting to reproduce every detail of a photograph. The result is a portrait that feels personal, painterly, and alive.
If you are looking for a painting that replicates a photograph with every tiny detail rendered exactly as it appears, I may not be the right artist for you.
I use professional-grade fine oil paints and archival materials so that your portrait can be enjoyed and passed down for generations as treasured family heirlooms.
Choosing Your Photograph
To begin, send me a few photographs of your baby. I will use these as references when creating the portrait. I have the final say on the workability of the photographs provided and may request additional images to help me accurately compare color, expression, features, and other details.
The photograph does not need to be a professional portrait. Sometimes the most meaningful images are the simple, everyday moments that capture your baby's personality.
If you live in the Houston, TX area, I may be able to arrange a personal session to photograph your baby myself. I am happy to work with you in selecting a composition and expression that feels meaningful to you and that will translate beautifully into a painting.
Your Portrait
Once we have selected the photograph I will be working from, I will provide an estimated completion time. I typically aim for approximately 4 weeks, but completion times may be longer depending on my current commission calendar. Your estimated timeline will be provided when you place your order.
All paintings are delivered unframed, allowing you to select the frame that best suits your home and your family's style.

Prices are based on one baby and a simple, understated background.

Refund Policy
If you choose not to move forward after purchase and the painting has not yet begun, you may cancel your commission and receive a full refund.
Once I have begun painting, you may still request a refund; however, 50% of the amount paid will be retained to cover time and materials already invested.
Once you have received your completed portrait, it is not returnable and refunds are no longer available.
By submitting payment for the commission, you agree to these refund terms.
